Abstract: A wavelet analysis method is applied to solve the system of linear equations generated by the 3-D boundary element method.The dense matrix is converted into a sparse one through data compression.The calculation speed is improved while solving the system of linear equations with the same coefficient matrix and several different right hand sides.
