数值模拟二维槽道内Oldroyd-B流体的流动

NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF OLDROYD B FLUID FLOWS THROUGH ABRUPT CONTRACTIONS

  • 摘要: 提出一种求解Oldroyd-B流体流动的数值方法。该方法采用有限体积离散,在求解连续方程时引进Chorin的人工可压缩性;求解本构方程时考虑了迎风处理的技巧;离散后的方程采用Gauss-Seidel线松弛迭代求解全流场。典型算例表明:该方法可用于非线性粘弹流体的数值计算,所得的二维算例结果符合非牛顿粘弹性流体的流动特征。

     

    Abstract: A new hybrid finite volume method for the numerical simulation of oldroyd B fluid flows is presented.As main features of this method,the technique of Chorin s pseudo compressibility is used to solve the 3-D steady incompressible continuity equation and momentum equations and the streamline upwinding approach is used to discretize the constitutive equations.The method has dealt with a sudden contractions viscoelastic flow problem for a range of Weissenberg numbers.Numerical results obtained are in good qualitative agreement with existing exprimental ones.
