Numerical Simulation of Electric Field in EHD Two-phase System

A mathematical model was established to predict the electric field distribution around a single discrete phase in two-phase system applied uniform electric field. The difference of the dielectric permittivities between the discrete phase and dielectric liquid was considered.The equipotential lines and electric field strength around the single discrete phase were obtained by solving the governing equation for electric field. The numerical simulation results presented are in good agreement with theoretical analysis.
