The verification methods and applications for simulation code of the multi-physical coupled system

  • Strategic equipment involves many physical phenomena under extreme conditions, and numerical simulation is an important means and tool for theoretical research and target design. Confidence of numerical simulation is a problem that needs to be focused on, and software verification is one of the important steps of confidence evaluation. Aiming at the verification problem of multi-physics coupled numerical simulation software, this paper studies the analysis methods required for verification, formulates a relatively standardized and easy-to-operate verification process, and develops hundreds of verification examples based on different verification purposes, and corresponding "verification test library" have been built according to the types of problems. Finally, we follow the main technical road map of verification, based on the newly-built verification test libraries, and carry out the verification of the multi-physics coupling system numerical simulation software systematically according to the verification process.
