高能量粒子对托卡马克锯齿模影响的数值模拟

Numerical Simulation on Influence of Energetic Particles on Tokamak Sawtooth Modes

  • 摘要: 托卡马克实验中发现高能量粒子对锯齿模有显著影响。本文采用动理学-磁流体混合模型程序M3D-K模拟研究了高能量粒子对锯齿模的影响作用。模拟结果表明: 高能量粒子压强与总压强比值的增大会解稳锯齿不稳定性; 高能量粒子的最大入射能量和抛射角的增大会致稳锯齿不稳定性; 高能量粒子压强分布的梯度减小会致稳锯齿不稳定性。这些模拟结果可能为托卡马克运行时控制锯齿不稳定性提供参考。

     

    Abstract: In tokamak experiments, high-energy particles are observed to exert significant influence on the sawtooth instability. Therefore, this paper uses the gyrokinetic-magnetofluid hybrid model program M3D-K to study the influence of high-energy particles on sawtooth modes. The simulation results indicate that increase in the ratio of energetic particle pressure to total pressure can destabilize the sawtooth instability; increase in the energetic particles energy and pitch angle of energetic particles can stabilize the sawtooth instability; and decrease in the gradient of energetic particle pressure distribution can stabilize the sawtooth instability. These simulation results may provide reference for controlling sawtooth instabilities during future operation of tokamaks.
